I was raised in a family that valued both entrepreneurship and learning, which laid the foundation for my journey into the world of finance and accounting. With a rich background in both business and education, I have been privileged to experience a diverse range of professional roles throughout my career. I have continued to pursue my passion for financial management and community service. Having recently retired as a Senior Accountant from the Travis County District Clerk, where I dedicated 26 years to serving the public in various capacities, and where I had an extended range of accounting responsibilities and accomplishments.
I’m fluent in English and Spanish, and I have also honed my translation skills in multiple sectors, ensuring effective communication and fostering understanding.
Beyond my professional endeavors, I have found fulfillment in coaching youth soccer, empowering young girls as a financial teacher and mentor, and volunteering at the Texas Performing Arts at the University of Texas-Austin Bass Center. I settled in Bastrop in 2020 and 2023, and I have had the honor of serving as the Financial Manager and Human Resources officer at SWTC by positively impacting the community.
Passionate about giving back, connecting, and serving other businesses, I look forward to contributing to meaningful initiatives through my Accounting/Bookkeeping service with Less Stress Financial Services LLC.
